I'm wondering if they're actually considering selling one by doing a repeat, especially considering how hot War Front has been at the sales with big name buyers (and Tapit, too, if he's the repeat). I seriously doubt Bernardini will be the repeat, but I've been wrong a few timesviolabella wrote:

Yeah I doubt it's Bernardini but maybe Coz is doing great in training. I want to lean more towards the Tapit side. 1)because look at Zi and 2)since this could be a May foal Tapits are usually more forward.mariasmon wrote:I'm wondering if they're actually considering selling one by doing a repeat, especially considering how hot War Front has been at the sales with big name buyers (and Tapit, too, if he's the repeat). Whoever they go with, Z14 must have made up their mind for them -- either way. I'm psyched to know.

I love Candy Ride but isn't he a big stallion? And if its a repeat, my money is on Tapit--who wouldn't want that gray filly?
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I agree. I was one of the few hoping Z14 was a colt because War front's colts seem to be a lot better than his fillies.

Hadn't been to the Lane's End web site in awhile, so went to check out Candy Ride (ARG) and Smart Strike. They now have a really nice video w/narrative for each stallion. Really do like Candy Ride. Still wouldn't be surprised if they go with Smart Strike, mainly due to his age compared to the others...

I would hope they don't use Smart Strike. Nothing against him but I don't like inbreeding that close.Lakeway wrote:Hadn't been to the Lane's End web site in awhile, so went to check out Candy Ride (ARG) and Smart Strike. I hate to coin any stallion as being a better filly or colt stallion, but War Front's best have almost all been colts and geldings. I could only think of Pontchatrain and Summer Soiree for his top fillies. I actually agree with someone for a change.
I would also not like to see her go to Smart Strike, and I don't think they would do that. Inbreeding to Mr. Prospector would be 2 X 4. There aren't any Smart Strike-Street Cry crosses out there to compare.
Are we still speculating, or has it been announced she is going to Tapit? The 2013 colt looks really nice, and Tapit is having a good year.

I think I read he is something like 16.1 or 16.2 hands. It'd be interesting to do a comparison list of potential stallions (even wishful thinking stallions) by height. Hmm...Lakeway wrote:I somehow missed KJ when I ran the Nicks - it's also an "A++"... Haven't ever seen him "in person" - is he also a big guy like MDO?horsefan wrote:My guess is MDO or Kitten's Joy.
