I can relate. Kitten's Joy never had a halter that fit properly until he got to Hill n Dale. They were always too small. It bugged the crap out of me.

Seattle Serenade is gorgeous, even with the ill-fitting halter.

It's too bad they couldn't use a taller photograph for him so he wouldn't have to duck his head.

It also makes me warm-fuzzy happy to see Flower Alley looking so well in SAF... and I dunno what they bribed Gold Ship with to get his confo shot but that's probably the most boring he's ever looked in his life, LOL. (It's a good shot, not criticizing, but I'm not used to him behaving... )

A lot of his antics may have been because he had a rider or knew that was going to happen. He looked super calm in his walking video that is here:

It looks like Frank's photographer was squatting when the picture was taken. Maybe that's why he's holding his head lower. Almanzor can come and hide his sorry self behind my barn, poor thing. Some backgrounds are looking pretty good in some cases of these stallion shots but if the subject has a laser sharp outline and the lighting in the background doesn't match; it's distracting. For conformation; I don't really mind a white background except when the outline of the grass the horse was standing in is left behind on the hooves.
