I can state, with complete confidence, that the best future broodmare in the sale appears in book 3, 4, or 5, and will sell in the middle to high five or low six figures. She's in foal to a quasi-fashionable sire, has a third dam that anyone as old as me would recognize, and will be the dam of at least one if not two champions.

The only problem is...I can't tell you which hip she is.

Hip 390, One Gun, sold in foal to Magician for $30,000. She was a $450,000 2-year-old last year... and earned $16,000 on the track. Ouch.
