~ I like headlines like this because it makes me think stuff like "wow they're getting married" and then I remember they're horses.
Lol; me too.

Also excited for Wonder Gadot to visit Lord Kanaloa.

I mean I get supporting your own stallion, but Medaglia d’Oro is getting up there in years so why not breed to him?

Wouldn't it be funny if the resulting foal ends up being a Triple Crown winner or something?

But seriously I do agree that Medaglia d'Oro would have been a far better choice.

Word. I've never understood the rationale behind rushing to new, unproven stallions when the great and proven senior stallions are still available.

Maybe the foal will turn out to be a Triple Crown winner, but right now it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

It's sort of like choosing ground chuck over filet mignon. :?

Breed her to Tapit who is probably in his last few years at stud which yields an A+ nick?

Nah.

She also nicks A with Pharoah. But I agree, you've got Tapit and Medaglia d'Oro, and as we saw with Pioneerof the Nile recently, there's no guarantee they'll still be here 2 years from now.

I know every breeding produces different results but I'd still be leery of that breeding (and obviously the one to Bolt d'Oro) after seeing what Leslie's Lady produced to MDO. That colt was unfortunate looking. I really wish I could see him to see if he outgrew his poor looks from last year.
