Timber Town’s facebook just posted a pic of Song Gate and included the following in the caption:
Due to a confluence of factors, she will not race; however, she is going to be bred this spring. We will update Songbird fans as the year goes.

If that isn't the most disappointing thing... not surprising in the slightest though.

I presume there were many top mares sent to Arrogate for his first season, but now I wonder how many breeders are having 'buyers' remorse.' :?

Not saying its not an injury issue but I wonder how much losing America's Joy is factoring into this.

The Honor Code/Miss Squeal filly, half to Spielberg and formerly named Usool, has had a name change...she’s now named Brockovich, after Erin Brockovich, a famed whistleblower.

I think that’s awesome - and I suspect it means they are high on this girl...

I thought about this as well. I would imagine if Mandy could go back in time, she would have retired AJ as a broodmare rather than try to race her.

He’s running against Sidekick today at Belmont - a half to Code of Honor by Honor Code. I like the name, but considering how easy it is to get the two names confused, and how often CoH comes up when HC is Googled, I would have liked the name Confusion 😂

While it made sense for a Noble Mission son to be named Code of Honor, I still thought of Honor Code first whenever I saw his name.

Maybe a good name would have been Double Vision, lol. Hopefully people don’t make this mistake when filling out the stallion applications 😂😂😂

Makes sense though. It's a song title from Wicked where Elphaba and Glinda are singing to each other about how they've been changed for the better since they were able to know each other.

I, for one, like it, but I am a Broadway nerd. 😂
