Wow, Animal Kingdom is so beautiful. I've always been partial to bright chestnuts. Also, I love this guy's pedigree, so am hoping his becomes one of the elite sires of his generation. I hope he comes to Kentucky and stays there.

Wow.
I can't find a hair wrong on that boy...refined head, long, well-set neck, deep chest, a frigging-big motor. Maybe his tail could be longer, but that's it. :P

Arrowfield owns the majority interest in him, so he most definitely will go back to Australia

Animal Kingdom is a stud muffin. He is so photogenic. Do any bad photos of him even exist?

AK is one gorgeous boy! I'm so glad he will be in the US for stud duty too.

I'd guess that whoever walks that expensive hunk of muscle and testosterone is likely the most experienced...and burliest...groom in the stable.
I went to see him and he's probably the quietest, most professional stallion you'll see. I think he was all business on the track, but he calmed down a lot as a 4YO (little too much at the start in his last two races!), now he's all business in his new job. Very classy animal.

To the question earlier, they do also get turned out at Juddmonte, though I can see why you'd get the opposite impression from the video.

Thanks for an in-person update on Frankel, Tonno. I'm glad he's settled down...that certainly will be better for his health (and his handlers' nerves) in the long run.

Boy, those breeders love their Photoshop, don't they?
It is a cool composition, though...I've seen worse outlining.

He'll start his breeding career next year at Fährhof Stud in Germany. He's advertised as "the only colt who defeated Novellist - twice."

I like Graydar.

Pastorious is absolutely stunning. Of course, we can't really see his legs from a photo, but from what can be seen, that -- right there -- is perfect Thoroughbred conformation. Does anyone know if Pastorious retired sound?

He's certainly not perfect, his shoulder is quite straight and he lacks bone. He retired after a hairline fracture to one of his legs during training, so not entirely sound either.

No, he was seriously injured in August (fractured right front cannonbone) and then was retired in October
