Do you remember those attractive jocks in high school, who never seemed to be troubled by any 'awkward' stage? That Maurice/Buena Vista colt looks like that.

From what I've seen, Maurice is throwing some good-looking offspring...but that chestnut takes the prize. <3
If he showed up at a Keeneland (or maybe Tattersall's?) yearling sale, what do you think he'd go for?

Honestly, I don't think the general Keeneland population would have much interest, however good/striking he looks. Tattersall's, maybe if he was by Deep Impact? Maurice is definitely throwing some attractive foals, this first crop will see how deep the interest gets...

She is Kentucky bred and was sold at the 2019 Keeneland September Sale. She was originally named My Cartouche but her name was changed following her sale. Careless Jewel is owned by Jane Lyon (Summer Wind Farm) and was pensioned in 2019. Careless Jewel has had occasional colic and Jane Lyon was concerned over the mare's health so pensioned her.

I'm honestly surprised she sold the filly after she had made the decision to pension Careless Jewel. I don't believe she owns the only other daughter that Careless Jewel produced.
