You are right. I had no idea she died.Northport wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 6:40 pmRacingpost/Wetherbys has her listed as dying in 2020, though the Godolphin website has her listed as being alive, though they also have Cavalryman listed as being alive, when he fatally broke down at Meydan years ago.

Yes it never snows in this part of New Zealand. Though even where it does snow in NZ most are foaled outdoors and the majority of NZ studs do not even have a indoor foaling barn (I don't actually know for sure of a single farm that does have a designated foaling barn)CorridorZ75 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 12:24 am I believe Claiborne will foal some outdoors later in season, but it is probably too cold for the KY and NE states in the early foaling season. The way that grass looks makes me think that must be in a pretty temperate zone of NZ for this early in the SH Spring.

Just curious, Rugby Girl--where are you in NZ? I've mostly been to South Island although I did visit Rotorua many years ago. Still can't believe people had mini-hot springs boiling in their back yards. Yikes!
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I'm in Hamilton about 15 minutes north of Cambridge Stud which is about a hour and a bit north of Rotorua

She's so clean and shiny!
And I bet she would roll in a patch of dirt the first chance she gets.

What a sweet, heartwarming photo. The two mares obviously care about each other. Wish more humans were as kind.tachyon wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 7:40 am My Miss Lilly(USA)(in foal to Lord Kanaloa) and Ivy Bell(USA)(in foal to Rey de Oro)
