I wonder if she'll be bred again. She's getting up there in years.

There's a new little Pharoah in the world & he's as special as they come. Sacre Coeur, the dam of champion Lady Eli and our own MGSW Bizzy Caroline, delivered a colt by Triple Crown winner American Pharoah over the weekend and he is a very handsome boy. What a fabulous way to conclude our foaling season!

I love his face marking!
Late foal it's true but Mucho Macho Man was born June 15th and I think he did pretty well for himself :)

Found (Multiple Grade 1 Champion including Arc de Triomphe and BC Turf) foaled a War Front colt on May 10th

Also...
filly-War Front x Misty for Me (full to Roly Poly, U S Navy Flag)
colt-War Front x Coolmore (sister to Gleneagels, Happily and Marvellous)
colt-War Front x Marvellous (winner of Irish 1,000 Guineas)
filly-War Front x Maybe (Group 1 winner, dam of Saxon Warrior)
colt-War Front x Together Forever (full sister to Epsom Oaks winner Forever Together)

Coolmore sure seems to like War Front

Littleprincessemma '18 ( Chestnut c by Tapit) with his best friend Careless Jewel '18 (Grey f by American Pharoah) at Summer Wind (apparently, Littleprincessemma and Careless Jewel are BFFs as well)

Yes! Although I can't be the only one who is amused by the fact Tapit's son is a Chestnut whilst AP's daughter is a grey

Here's an update on the orphaned colt in the story that was posted further upthread who ended up finding a nursemare through twitter. The two are now fully bonded.

This pretty filly has some pretty big shoes to fill! She's by Pioneerof the Nile and out of our homebred stakes winner Glinda the Good, which makes her a half sister to our Champion Two-Year-Old Male, Good Magic! #FoalFriday #Storkstreet

Eh, it's not surprising that AP's daughter is grey when you take into account the fact that Careless Jewel is a grey daughter of Tapit herself and Littleprincessemma is also chestnut.

That Glinda the Good filly is gorgeous.

I didn't say it was surprising, simply that I found it amusing amusing ;) It's a case of taking after their moms.

This is the first California Chrome foal bred by Haras Sumaya at their Kentucky farm. The colt is out of Brushwork by Discreet Cat. The photo, courtesy of Haras Sumaya, shows Dr. Carolina Rojas, Dr. Susana Bonometti, Frances Relihan, Marshall Taylor and Mark Taylor. (https://www.facebook.com/harassumaya/ph ... =3&theater)

I'm such a fan of both this "wow" young colt's sire GET STORMY (aka "Clyde") and the dam STREAKING GLIMMER's sire BLUE EYED STREAKER. So I'm now also an instant fan of this duo, too!

So fun to visit them at their home, Echo Hill Farm near Louisville, a few weeks ago.

Wow, he is striking! Love the different markings and colors that some thoroughbreds come in.
