Nice to see that they found a place for DLL to stand. I think he could have been a really nice horse over some shorter distances at Meydan, but they never seemed to want to go less than a mile with him.

Just an fyi, Authorized shuttles as well, he is currently at Darley's Haras du Logis in France

Roses in May is absolutely stunning! I did notice that when you look at him from behind- there seems to be some pin fire marks just below his hocks- more so on his right side.

Will look at some more during the day, thanks so much for sharing.

Wow...IHA looks amazing (and very full of himself!).

Orfevre looks like he's got a bit of the Halo temperament, and I can't help to love his flaxen mane and tail. What a looker he is!

He's always been a looker. It's easy to see how he got his name.

Lovely picture. I am hopeful he will turn out to be a solid sire.
I saw this picture on FB yesterday, and I *had* to read the comments. Someone said "oh, he looks so much like his sire".... and... umm... I didn't reply, but I don't think he looks anything like Indy.

To be fair, he does have four legs, a head, and a tail just like his sire

Just saw that Horse Chestnut died. He was at Drakenstein Stud (w/Trippi, Duke of Marmalade, etc.) in S. Africa. They have a gorgeous website, and there's an article on him on their Media page (can't directly link it):

http://www.drakensteinstud.com/media/
Horse Chestnut – South African Horse of the Year, Triple Crown Champion, and horse racing icon – died last night in his stall at the age of 19. The autopsy revealed the cause of death to be a heart failure.
