didn't expect her to be that expensive AT ALL. i mentioned this in the Retirements thread but i found it curious she is a BP only, given they swore up and down she was scratching from her last race because the post was impossible and she only worked once after that. never enjoy seeing these big prices on horses with questionable durability, but anyways, not my money not my monkeys.
i like plushies. a lot.

Yeah I don't know. I just looked she wasn't ever on the vet list in California in 2023 for anything. Maybe it was a breathing issue? Cause I think if it was something more she'd appear on the list but really don't know. But I say that and Tamara isn't on the list and they said she has a broken split bone.brunanas wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 9:55 pmdidn't expect her to be that expensive AT ALL. i mentioned this in the Retirements thread but i found it curious she is a BP only, given they swore up and down she was scratching from her last race because the post was impossible and she only worked once after that. never enjoy seeing these big prices on horses with questionable durability, but anyways, not my money not my monkeys.

He's a new buyer starting in September. Bloodhorse has a picture but nothing else. And he jumped in the deep end from the beginning.
Here we go, TDN from September yearling talked to him.

i remember that her last work prior to the scratch was pretty... awkward. swishing her tail non stop, changed leads multiple times in a row. not pretty, basically. which leads me to think it's something more than "just" a breathing issue, but we'll never know.Flanders wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 10:06 pmYeah I don't know. Stewart, the founder and managing partner at MiddleGround Capital, first horse bought at September 2022. From Kentucky, starting new farm, always wanted to be in horse racing but wife wouldn't allow. So he got divorced and now he is spending money like crazy.
