Teruya Yoshida reported via Facebook that @Princess_Sylmar was "undaunted" by the long trip to Japan & still has her racing vigor

Princess may get stall in barn known as "Terry's Jewel Box" due to its star mares :)
Shadai Farm posted new picks of Princess of Sylmar:

At last, today we can introduce one of our beautiful mares just joined from the U.S. She is still attracting much attention from her fans in her home country – her name is Princess of Sylmar. She is New York Triple Crown winner and won four races at 3yo! She was released from quarantine at the end of 2014 and arrived at Shadai Farm.

Now in a paddock, she is with her new friends traveling together from the states and preparing to be a mother.
Because she is a Princess, we thought she might lead other horses….but there is a strong girl in the same paddock and Princess follows the mare. It seems she is a modest and humble princess.

We will take great care of Princess. Please be rooting for her new life in Japan.

That really is a nice post. Thanks for sharing it, tachyon. I have no doubts Shadai Farm will take good care of the Princess.

:D

You are welcome!
Princess looks great!
I also hope that Shadai Farm will unveil who is ''the strong girl in the same paddock'' Princess follows, next time. I'm curious, haha! ;)

The only other mares Shadai bought were Seaneen Girl and Unlimited Budget, so its most likely one of them.

So happy to see this- have often thought about her when I saw her at Akindale a few years back- and she went back to the bluegrass shortly after- from FB

I was just hunting for the whereabouts of Jeanne Jones after watching some of the 1987 Breeders Cup on HRTV a few nights ago. I figured she had gone on to her great reward by now.

I'm a little behind on the threads but in case this wasn't posted, Black Caviar looks great and her filly is big!

No, I just saw on PQ that she was sent back here in October and then confirmed in JC. I knew that Shared Belief's 3YO full sister, who was foaled in Turkey, had been imported by Hollendorfer and Co.

Her 2014 foal was bred by Live Oak Stud and born in Florida.

Since she was bred again to Bernardini, maybe they kept her in KY this time and she's boarded somewhere around there? Haven't heard anything.

She has been bred to a Kentucky stallion every year but foals in Florida. Not saying she couldn't be in Kentucky. Maybe she didn't get in foal and they just decided to board her there?

She does already have a no foal report for this year.
