I think he's going to be Treve's first date, and continuing the late, great Dubai Millennium's bloodline with such a classy mare is wonderful.

According to this article Treve will continue racing.

War Emblem is so pretty, always loved his face. Is there a known reason why it's difficult to get him to bred?

He doesn't particularly care for mares. As in, he refuses to breed them.

I seem to remember that he was only showing interest in grey mares (when the mood struck him) and I think that they had to do some quick switching to get him to accept other mares. He did get better for a bit, and now it seems he is back to his old ways. I think he has done well with what he has managed to produce, limited or not.

Well, I knew that. I was curious if they knew why, like if there was a specific reason or they just chalk it up to him being weird.

I've never heard of a reason. I know they spent a lot of money trying to figure it out, flying in specialists from around the world.

Wild Rush, a reputable stallion, suspended his stud duty due to fertility issue in 2013.
But he managed to cover 28 mares this year.

Sinister Minister has turned out to be a very popular stallion here.
He got 117 mares this year (up 41 mares from the previous year)!

I like this one of Scat Daddy, too... it's profile but I think it's how the photo conveys his size/scale and the expression in his eye that I find appealing.
