Does anyone have any information on the condition of Cigar? I read on another site that he has celluilitis -- I love that horse and am worried about him. Thanks so much in advance.

I was worried also when I read that so took a chance and emailed the Horse Park. Here is their response (from 2 days ago):
"I'm told it's a hock strain and that he still needs some time to recover. We appreciate your interest and support for him."

Thanks for the link to the video. Even though his hock is bandaged, Cigar looks great.

I too saw that on Facebook and was worried. I contacted his "Mom" on FB and she said it's an old condition and she wasn't worried. I believe her. I will be taking a ride to Lex in the next few months tho. I haven't seen Cigar in many years so it's time.

He's had the cellulitis off and on since 2009. He's currently feeling and moving very well, and is about to get back into shows. He may not do every show every day - with so many HOC horses now they switch out anyway to give everyone a chance to show while others have breaks - but obviously he'll still be available daily to be seen in his stall or paddock.
