Knew you wouldn't miss!

I've been waiting for this day to come, haha!

Obviously the Sorrento at Del Mar was the highlight of the day to me.
Nooni just won it and she could be seen less impressive than some had expected.
But it was only her second start and I think that she can improve more.

I had no idea until today about Win N Your In and her Sharp Susan entry at Gulfstream Park.
I was so impressed by the way she took out the race from off the pace.
She should get more distance!

Do you have any thoughts on the two Win Win Win fillies next outings?

Since Nooni is in Bob Baffert's barn, my guess is that she'll stay on the West Coast trail for 2yo fillies and will likely have her next start in the FanDuel Racing Del Mar Debutante Stakes (G1) at 7 furlongs on September 7. Win N Your In is in the barn of Carlos David, who is based at Gulfstream Park but does race at Saratoga (where he's had a couple of winners today) and Monmouth. If he thinks Win N Your In is good enough, he could point her to the 7-furlong Spinaway Stakes (G1) on August 31 at Saratoga off a three-week turnaround; otherwise, you'll probably see her next in the Desert Vixen division of the Florida Sire Stakes series for 2yos on September 7 at Gulfstream---probably a softer spot as it's a 6-furlong race restricted to state-breds, and she would then be set up for competing in the Susan's Girl division on October 19 and the My Dear Girl on November 30.

I was not at all familiar with Win N Your In's trainer Carlos David.
No doubt he will make a right decision for his promising filly!!

I would not imagine that Win Win Win babies are too precocious.
It looks like he got off to a good start and I only pray that this trend will continue.
Win Win Win is my sentimental favorite No.1 of all the stallions standing on this planet right now.
His success in the G1 Forego Stakes at Saratoga four years ago remains unforgettable to me.
Those NYRA and Bloodhorse photos of his with a rainbow in the sky were incredibly beautiful!!

Bred in Kentucky by Susan Bedwell and out of the Paddy O' Prado mare Rosie O'Prado , Grayosh had been entered in the 2022 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale and caught the eye of Flanagan's friend, bloodstock agent Jeff Macker.

"I really liked the sire Yoshida, that horse could run on this stuff (turf), the dirt, the highway, and he was a horse I really enjoyed betting. So I said (to Macker) let's do it," said Flanagan. A bid of $25,000 landed the filly from the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment.

Dance in the Dark(JPN) was an excellent sire at stud, too.
He became the memorable first Sunday Silence son to sire a G1 winner**, when That's the Plenty(JPN)[o/o Bubble Prospector(USA) by Miswaki(USA)] won the Kikuka Sho (Japanese St. Leger) in 2003.
Dance in the Dark also sired another two Kikuka Sho winners Delta Blues(JPN)[o/o Dixie Splash(USA) by Dixieland Band(USA)] in 2004 and Three Rolls(JPN)[o/o Three Roman(JPN) by Brian's Time(USA)] in 2009. Delta Blues went on to win the G1 Melbourne Cup in Australia in 2006.
Dance in the Dark was also represented by the Yasuda Kinen winner Tsurumaru Boy(JPN)[o/o Tsurumaru Girl(JPN) by Soccer Boy(JPN)] at a mile in 2004.
He was an excellent broodmare sire who can add stamina influence, too.

Delta Blues(JPN), 2001H. Dance in the Dark(JPN) x Dixie Splash(USA) by Dixieland Band(USA), died of laminitis at Old Friends Japan on Oct 8th 2024.
He was a dual G1 winner and his historic victory in the 2006 Melbourne Cup especially remains unforgettable.
May he rest in peace.

Do Deuce(JPN), 2019H. Heart's Cry(JPN) x Dust and Diamonds(USA) by Vindication(USA), won the G1 Tenno Sho Autumn 2000m turf at Tokyo very impressively covering last 600m in 32.5 under Yutaka Take on Oct 27th 2024.
Do Deuce became the 7th horse in the Japanese racing history to capture G1 titles four years in a row with his victories in the Asahi Hai Futurity (in 2021), the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) (in 2022), the Arima Kinen (Grand Prix) (in 2023) and the Tenno Sho Autumn (in 2024).
