Don't know if this has already been done, but I wanted to learn more about Minardi since he's my personal horse's dad. I just know the basics of his racing career, and the fact that he died in NZ and also half bro to Tale of the Cat. Anyone have something even remotely interesting to share about him, or any pictures?

He entered stud at Walmac International in Kentucky in 2002 and also shuttled to New Zealand(2002-2003). He was sold to Australia in 2006.
This one was in the 2001 Bloodhorse Stallion Register (I had to change it just to a link to imgur, the pic was huge)

There are a few others here: https://sporthorse-data.com/media?horse_id=10162340 You'll have to sign up for a free account to see them, most likely.

Yes I went down a rabbit hole here looking form him. He shuttled to New Zealand in 2002 & 2003 and the last note in the nz studbook says "Exported: 28/12/2003 to United States of America"
He didn't come back to NZ due to the farm he was standing at going under and was sold from America to a Australian farm in 2006 and passed away in October 2012
Some info on his Australian farm here: https://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/News/Story/36454
lets see if this pic I found works:

Interesting! My mare looks a lot like her dad. Do you know how tall he was? Only asking because my mare barely clears 15 hands.
