I've been waiting for some free time to do this after the September yearling sale ended. This is their averages for the year, only stallions that stood in Kentucky and had yearlings sell. I have included stallion name, stud fee in 2019, yearling average, average money after stud fee is subtracted, and the last column is sales average divided by stud fee(to see if any were super big profits).

The formatting is going to be sloppy, sorry about that, I tried to fix it and when I previewed it, it just jumbles it all together again. :( After posting, I decided to split it in 2 so it was easier to read since it was so many jumbled numbers so close together.

** two stallions started in Kentucky in 2019 but did not have any yearlings go through the sales. (The Player and Beltany). Dolphus has since moved to Kentucky but also hasn't had any yearlings sell at auction. Also if you are like me and think, who the heck is Beltany? He is apparently a claimer someone decided should go to stud....

Right? That was a huge surprise to me as well. Also that out of the 3 Triple Crown race winners of 2017, Cloud Computing is the one who got the most bang for the buck out of his stud fee.

Wow. Good for Army Mule.

No surprise that Justify and City of Light are the leaders here; but if I was a breeder, I know which of the two I would rather send a mare to...
