Its all about potential. Hidden Scroll has flashed potential on the track
His only potential at the moment is hurting himself, other horses, and jockeys by freaking out around the starting gate.

ETA: Sorry if that sounded mean, but if Hidden Scroll belonged to anyone besides Juddmonte, he would have been gelded and retrained months ago.

That's highly possible but multiple bidders pushed his price that high meaning they have to think they can figure him out. There is no way he is worth 525k as a stallion prospect. Maybe their worst case scenario is gelding him and racing him. If that stops his antics then he could easily earn back the money spent cause he has shown he is talented.

I don’t know why they didn’t bother with him, but they geld and send their horses to New Vocations quite a bit.

Yes, you made an excellent point. No matter what, I do hope Hidden Scroll has a bright future.

Do you know anything about the connections who purchased Dancing Rags? I love her sire and would like to keep up with her as well!
DANCING RAGS i/f CURLIN sold for $1.1M at The #FasigNovember Sale! Congrats to the connections.
B: Nobutaka Tada
C: Royal Oak Farm (Damien & Braxton Lynch), agent
INDELIBLE i/f NYQUIST sold for $1.6M at The #FasigNovember Sale! Congrats to the connections.
B: Nobutaka Tada
C: Lanes End, agent
I don't know yet and will keep an eye on it.
Nobutaka Tada is a famous agent.
But he races some horses for himself, too.
I feel it's been a while he is seen in a major market.
But I remeber he knocked down Casino Drive(USA) for the owner Hidetoshi Yamamoto.
He is also known to have strong relationships with Kazuo Fujisawa and Yasushi Kubota.
At Tokyo on Sunday, the Hyacinth Stakes, 3rd leg of the Japan's Road to the Kentucky Derby 2021, was won beautifully by La Perouse(JPN).
That Pelusa colt is owned by Nobutaka Tada!
La Perouse's trainer Kazuo Fujisawa commented after the race;
''Going to the Kentucky Derby could be a bit difficult (under the current Covid-19 circumstances). But we would like to go the Belmont Stakes with a prep in the Peter Pan. That's what the owner (= Nobutaka Tada) wants to do..''

And I'm thrilled with Kazuo Fujisawa's comment.
In 2008, Casino Drive(USA), trained by Fujisawa, won the Peter Pan. But he had to be scratched from the Belmont due to a foot bruise.
