Does anyone find it surprising that there isn't a wiki for Thoroughbreds? I mean, it seems like a great resource for fans and people in the business.

I'll help! I don't know a thing about wikis, but I do love research...

I usually split my research time between PedigreeQuery and Equibase. What niche would a wiki seek to fill?

It'd be nice if there was some uniformity among the Wikipedia entries for famous horses in terms of structure/info/etc.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

Yeah - I do wonder if we're better off building up the Wikipedia pages for horses with existing pages and adding more pages. There's really no competing with Equibase, but it'd be nice to have something a little more accurate than PQ.

Equibase + jockey club + equineline gets you what you need.
