You could go crazy trying to apply logic to these prices. It's clear in a lot of instances that a couple of bidders just aren't going to let go. This isn't a bad thing; it keeps a lot of people who love horses alive and working.Admin wrote:Insanity at the sales...
I can state, with complete confidence, that the best future broodmare in the sale appears in book 3, 4, or 5, and will sell in the middle to high five or low six figures. She's in foal to a quasi-fashionable sire, has a third dam that anyone as old as me would recognize, and will be the dam of at least one if not two champions.
The only problem is...I can't tell you which hip she is.
