Parx refused entries for 2 horses, one each in the PA Derby and Cotillion, that had no right being in the races to begin with.

https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/p ... ed-horses/

Real surprised but I'm glad they did so. The trainer even says the owner only wanted to enter because they were guaranteed money.

Would love to see Stronghold win and Seize the Gray run well.

Thought Pandagate would run here ( the horse he beat twice Doc Sullivan is running) but glad to see they are taking a more conservative approach with him and maybe waiting for a NY bred stakes or the Discovery instead.

I also thought he was being pointed here. I love Panda, so I hope a slower campaign means we get to see him as a 4 year old 8-)

Carry Grant? Huh, how did that slip by the Jock-
Carry Grant (Brody's Cause - Arsenic and Lace)
Oh hell yeah.

The JC only cares about exact. Since the human is Cary Grant, they don't care.

The Cotillion and PA Derby have nice fields; I'm excited to root for Sidamara and Dragoon Guard. But I'm most excited to see Next; he's been such a fun horse to follow.

Will the races be shown anywhere?

Stronghold for me.
Hard to see past Thorpedo Anna, but if a horse could upset her, I would choose Power Squeeze or Sidamara.

I'm praying that my boy runs well. He highly likely won't run again if he throws a third clunker in a row

I would like to see STG because I always want to see the Classic winners actually win more G1s and G2s afterward but I'm really rooting for Stronghold and Dragoon Guard. I'm pretty sure Stronghold was on one of my Derby tickets...I bet him because I didn't know he was an orphan until they mentioned it on the draw show (I teared up).

And while it would definitely upset the apple cart I think it would be interesting if one of the ??? entries won, like Lonesome Boy and Doc Sullivan.

And his real name was Archibald Leach. There’s got to be a joke somewhere concerning Leach, leech and the owner.

Ah, the purse incentives explain why they were able to get some many horses to show up against Next and Thorpedo Anna. Although my gut says that if there's ever a time to take a shot against Anna, it's now.

Pleased to see that the PA Derby is more of a G2 field than a G1. And I see that Repo Rocks is back in stakes company. This is, uh, probably a good venue for him.

Delgado sounds really, really confident in Power Squeeze's chances. TA is a beast, but we'll see what happens.

Might change my mind about Stronghold, just saw a photo of Dragoon Guard, and he is a beauty!
