And....I think I spotted Curtis in the crowd!
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Good read; thanks for sharing. I had heard of Hill Rise but was not familiar with many of his exploits, particularly of those overseas.

Since I had just posted this in the past couple days, Hill Rise's pedigree was fresh on the mind.

Shancelot's first runner, Perfect Shances, was a winner on Thursday at Keeneland. You might be thinking what does that have to do with anything? His 7th dam, Mountain Star, is a half sister to Hill Rise. His 6th dam, Twinkling Hill, is by Hill Rise's sire, Hillary.
