Report from Seattle here, where the sun is eclipsed annually from October through May.

Skies are clear in New England, and my husband is way up near Canada with a bunch of our friends, but I couldn't take the time off after missing two weeks from covid. Made some eclipse cupcakes and I'm going to just throw a little party with my students here in Boston.

Hope everyone has a nice day. Wear glasses, don't hurt your eyes!

We’re only getting about 6o% totality here in central Florida, but it’s amazing how much cooler it’s gotten and how the quality of the light has changed. It’s so cool.

Ours was amazing here in Ohio. I was wondering what Mahoning would do, but they announced before totality that they would postpone races for 50minutes.
It definitely got dark here.

Defo got much cooler and dark could not see eclipse due to low cloud cover.. Birds flew into trees and deer ran into woods. Some of our red neck neighbors set off firecrackers.

we had 98% here, the clouds actually cleared enough to see it right at its peak. For hardly any sun showing, it didn't get as dark as I expected but it was definitely weird light levels.

We got a good view of it at 93%, definitely got colder and darker! About a third of my students actually showed up to my little cupcake party, which was really nice. Maybe will chase totality in Iceland and/or Namibia in a few years...
