hello, all!
this weekend we have the fantastic Festival GP Brasil, starting tomorrow and ending on Sunday. the main event, the GP Brasil, will be run on Sunday at 4pm ET. you can watch it on YouTube on this channel: https://youtube.com/c/TVTurfe i don't think it will be streamed in english anywhere else, but if you guys know of any websites that might cover it, please add them to the thread as i believe i'm the only portuguese speaker around (by the way, don't be afraid to ask me anything if you're curious about what was said during a race. i'll gladly translate!).

— Friday is mostly minor listed stakes and allowances, so there isn't anything too interesting, but it's still worth the watch as it's of course part of the festival :lol:;

— Saturday's three main races are the Gr. II GP Francisco Villela de Paula Machado (2YO fillies, 8F on the turf), the Gr. I GP Roberto e Nelson Seabra (3YO+ F&M, 8F on the turf) and the Gr. I GP Major Suckow (2YO+ - yup, you read that right, though we don't have any 2YOs on the race this year -, 5F on the turf). post times are 2:45pm, 3:20pm and 4:00pm respectively, all on the ET timezone;

— Sunday's three main races are the Gr. I GP Jockey Club Brasileiro (2YO, 8F on the turf - the most important race for 2YOs in the country), the Gr. I GP Presidente da República (3YO+, 8F on the turf) and of course the signature race, the Gr. I GP Brasil (3YO+, 12F on the turf). post times are (again, all on the ET timezone) 2:15pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

if anyone wants me to, i can give some insight on the main runners of each of these races. i hope you guys join in the fun of our festival :D
oh, and of course, i'll be sharing the results throughout the day for all stakes (graded and listed)!
