Olivier, 4yo c (Tapit - Feathered, by Indian Charlie) Full brother to Flightline. Might make his debut on Sunday at Oaklawn. He is entered but because of missed training time due to weather, trainer Rudy Brisset said its 50/50 if he starts.

really curious to see what he does. his trainer never really seemed too high on him - at least by his brother's standards.

If he was anything like his brother, we’d know, they would tell us.
Instead he’s “slightly” under the radar (I didn’t know Flightline had a grey full brother), probably don’t expect the second coming. Sure he’ll go to stud though!!!

This is an article from December, if you wanted to read it, since you said you didn't know about him.

I didn't take the article that way. I took it as his trainer wasn't going to play the comparing game with Bill Finley, the writer of the article. All he said was, they don't look alike physically and no one would ever know they were full brothers. They are different horses and he doesn't want pressure put on him by comparing their abilities. IMO, he chose the best path by refusing to compare. Because as a trainer, if he says "He is pretty talented" and then he goes out and throws in a clunker, he looks bad. If he says, "the horse doesn't have any talent", then he pisses off the owners. Its best just to let the horse show his ability on the track. And we can be realistic too, he isn't going to be the next Flightline but that doesn't mean he can't be a nice horse too. He also could turn out to not do much. But I agree with Izvestia, he'll end up at stud either way.

And it looks like Curlin is set to increase his influence in Japan. ;)

Mouheeb (by Flatter) won the Al Shindagha Sprint (UAEG3) last weekend.

He is out of the SW mare Shananies Song (by Eltish), who has produced G2W Favorable Outcome (by Flatter), MSW Bellamentary (by Bellamy Road), and SW Beguine (by Gun Runner). Her daughter Scamper has produced SW Alogon (by California Chrome).

This mare has produced several SHs by a variety of stallions. She has a 2021 filly by Arrogate named Gate Song.

Gate Song? Isn't that the "flipped" version of what Mandy Pope named Birdsong's first foal by Arrogate.......Song Gate?

Maybe there's more Fipkes out there than we knew!

Skip the Line (Into Mischief x Bubbler), Arrogate's half brother, is about to run in the 7th at Gulfstream, a 11/16-mile MSW for 3yos on the dirt.
He did NOT sell for a king's ransom (about $450,000, if I heard correctly), so the expectations may be modest for the colt.
ETA: Skip the Line was 2nd to Tuscan Gold, a big, handsome son of MdO out of Valadorna (Curlin).
