Bloodhorse doesn't have the replay yet, just the results. I'd check back in a bit for the video.

Llorona ran away from that field, winning by seven lengths. She is a quick little gal.

I don't think she even took a deep breath.

And I was totally smitten by her mother, Wasted Tears, who produced MGIW and Champion Corniche.

Wasted Tears was a little unlucky on timing in her racing career. She won both the GII Jenny Wiley at Keeneland and the GII John C Mabee at Del Mar in 2010. The Jenny Wiley was upgraded to a GI in just the second running after that in 2012, and the Mabee got clipped by the AGSC to a GII the year that she won it in 2010. I'm not saying she was "robbed" or anything. That's just the way that the stakes grading system goes. But she was a total, on the outside, 24 months away from being a multiple GI-winning mare. I loved her so much that I always felt badly about that.

Looks like she is wearing a full or nearly full cup blinker over her right eye. Seems kind of extreme for a first time starter-must be a good reason. https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/c ... sing-star/

Barring a setback, he should make his debut some time early next year at Oaklawn.

i'm kinda surprised WinStar sent him to Brisset over the "bigger" trainers they use.
