That was quite the display of cooperation and strategy in the Sword Dancer.

What a wonderful win by Far Bridge, an INTACT son (according to Bloodhorse) of the late English Channel!
Someone in Kentucky please, PLEASE stand such a good son of EC.
(Was kind of disappointed that this $750,000 G1 only had five entrants.)

Society is a golden rocket, winning the Ballerina easily. Scylla ran well to get 2nd over Vahva.

Mullikin easily best in the Forego. Speed is certainly no impediment today.
The incredibly deep Allen Jerkens is up next, and I can't believe Timberlake is 11-1 on the cutback. World Record very interesting with speed from the inside as well. Prince of Monaco could win, but 8/5 is a completely insane price in this field.

Yeah... I just don't see how that sort of pattern emerges from an actual physical mechanism, though. By another pattern, his last race second off a layoff was his best. Not complaining though! He could certainly run last or off the screen, neither would be shocking.CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:44 pmGuessing it's his good race and then bad race pattern
Anna looks really good. I think she's up against it with the draw, but it would be awesome to see her win. Sierra Leone makes sense as the favorite, not so much sense at an 8/5 favorite. Dornoch... I've given up on trying to read Dornoch. I don't think this is his race, but I sure didn't think the Belmont was his race either.

Dornoch sure looks bigger than I remember him being. Anna looks great!

Fierceness does it! Thorpedo Anna ran such a great race to be second though. Sierra Leone was third.
