I just remembered that Equibase shows all time leaders so any horse that started in North America will be on the list.

History’s longest inquiry. Out of curiosity, which substances aren’t prohibited to administer when prepping a horse for the Saudi Cup?

3YO Eclipse award winner, should that trophy be redistributed?
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Yes.
From the perspective of justice, I wouldn't mind seeing that happen. But I don't think they ever would, just like CDI rejected the idea of disqualifying Justify from the Derby after he was officially DQ'd from the Santa Anita Derby.

By the way, my memory fails me again! Who would the 3yo that year, 2019, have been that would be the likely 3yo Eclipse winner if Maximum Security hadn't been in the picture? I just can't remember the cast of characters back then.

To me you’re really opening Pandora’s Box if you start doing that stuff. If the 2nd highest vote getter wasn’t trained by a guy or gal like Papa M………

Good pick on Omaha Beach. Arky Derby, SA Sprint Championship, and Malibu, and 2nd in the BC Dirt Mile to another 3yo Spun To Run. Another candidate might have been Preakness winner War Of Will (ironically both by War Front). Was actually kind of a weird year for the 3yos. Unheralded Country House wins the Derby on DQ, another surprise in the Belmont with Sir Winston. Then, no 3yo stepped up in the BC Classic to even hit the board.

Covefe won both the 3yo Filly Eclipse and the Filly Sprinter Award that year.
