Caramel Swirl wins the G2 Gallant Bloom today, via a double DQ. It sounds like she could possibly train up to the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint.
Quoting to add, Caramel Swirl apparently has a yearling full brother that’s been exported to Japan.

Anyone know how Union Rags does as a sire in Japan? I don’t think he’s had many runners there, but I also wouldn’t know how to check!
You can search here but I already have it on the right page for you: https://www.jbis.jp/horse/0001144026/sire/generation/ Best to keep to the Statistics or Progeny(active) tab if you want only Japanese results. The other tabs can have some worldwide data in them, like Record is his G1/G2SWs or if you go to Progeny and change active to a year, it will sometimes add GSWs(maybe even some others) from other countries. He has 7 winners from 11 starters. You can go to the Progeny tab and it will show you his active Japanese runners, where you can click on them and check them out, sometimes they have pics like Annunciation does. I thought Annunciation was a SW but Equineline just has him as a winner, so it must be a named, non-blacktype race that he won.

You can also look at his leading progeny here: https://en.netkeiba.com/db/horse/000a012d4c/ Though again, it will sometimes bring in GSWs. But it has pictures of a lot of his Japanese runners regardless of how they have done. :)

This is incredibly helpful, thank you! I’ll be excited to have a way to keep up with other stallion’s progeny using this as well!

Flying Spur ran 3rd in the 2009 Kentucky Oaks(G1) and is a daughter of MG1SW Lakeway(dam of SW Sluice who is the dam of G1 Mushka). Owner breeder Mike Rutherford bought Lakeway's dam, Milliardaire(a full sister to G1 Saratoga Six), as a yearling at the 1985 Fasig Tipton Saratoga sale for $2.7m.

Replay if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/r4UGCV5nKek?t=10934

I really liked Lakeway, she was a top notch filly. She wasn't quite as good when she came back from her injury at age 4 but she was still consistent, her only off the board finish coming in her last start when she finished 4th. I hope Three Rivers has a bright future.
Entered on October 4th in Race 4 at Belmont At The Big A(why don't they just say Aqueduct???) an Allowance 3/u at 7f.

Also in the race is Into Happiness, 4yo f (into Mischief - Acting Happy, by Empire Maker). Her dam is G2SW/MG1p Acting Happy who is a daughter of MG1 I Ain't Bluffing.

Very very impressive wish I was at the track! So many good horses running today. Honestly it's gotta be scary breaking out of the gate on a horse that fast! Then again if you ride for Wesley then you probably are prepared for the fast breaks

Lost Ark won the Jockey Club Derby Invitational S today. He has a serious paddle, which came in handy since the race came off the turf and was run on the sloppy main track.

Won it in really impressive style too. Aidan O’Brien says he is the best two year old he’s ever trained, but he says that every other year. One comment him and Ryan Moore have said multiple times about the colt is that he “doesnt get tired”. Whether in his works or on the track, he just doesnt want to stop.

Wow...that was kind of impressive. Dornoch won by about six lengths, despite running greener than a St. Patrick's Day parade, and never changing leads.

I thought he looked pretty good! I know they were pretty high on him before he debuted earlier this year so nice to see him finally run to the hype.
