Happy to see this family succeed, as I have Peace and War's half sister Frosted Oats and she's been retired and will be sent to the Keeneland November Sale. Here's hoping her page looks even better by then!

Good luck to Frosted Oats and her family!!! :D
Albany beat a highly-touted colt Lord Four Aces yesterday.
Of Albany's siblings, Valkyrja(JPN)(by Tapit), 4-time winner on dirt, is now believed to be a broodmare at Katsumi Yoshida's Northern Farm. I'm now wondering which stallion she has been bred to this year.
Daisy Luck(JPN)(by Deep Impact) gave birth to a New Year's Day filly this year, by the way.

Ultra Power (Curlin x Unique Bella [Tapit]) looked strong winning the 5th at Los Al, a 7-furlong MSW for 2yos. Late in the season, but I wouldn't be surprised if Baffert looks for a stakes race for this blue-blooded colt.

I just thought she is an interesting follow being by Mr. Besilu ( A.P. Indy - Balance) . She's raced 21 times (4 wins/4 seconds/2 thirds) and has won $112,914. Just got an update she's back at Canterbury Park.
Sailing Along has now popped up in Albuquerque, she had a win the other day so shes now 25 (5-6-2) $137,709. She's probably Mr. Besilu's biggest winner (?). She does seem to be going lower in the claiming races, do you think someone would retire her to breed? I know she's by Mr. Besilu, but her mom was stakes placed and earned over $100k and she seems pretty sturdy. Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I worry when they start running near any border :(

I posted in the retirements thread but Spendthrift did an interview and said that G3SW Teena Ella(War Front - Beholder), will be retired and bred this coming breeding season. She hasn't worked in almost 2 months so I kind of think she is already retired.

she was seemingly doing fine til may or so (raced Nov, Jan, Feb, March, May and works into June). wonder what they mean by the very broad phrase "niggling issues".

A lot of secrecy. Is it foot issues, soft tissue? Bone bruising? Back problems? Inquiring minds want to know….

Niggling issues sounds like feet or a tendon that’s not “perfect”…

The Process (More Than Ready x Eblouissante) is entered in the 4th at Churchill, a 1-mile Allowance on the turf for 2yos, but only for Main Track. I don't know why they wouldn't want to try a son of More Than Ready on the grass, but it looks like we won't get to watch the handsome nephew of Zenyatta race today.

She's an imaginatively named daughter of Curlin and graded II stakes winner Foxysox (GB).
Foxysox’s 2yo c by Justify, Tejon Pass, broke his maiden nicely in SA R4.

i wanted to see Zenyatta herself on grass, her nephew by MTR going to the turf would make me very excited. hopefully they do try someday.

Paradise Lane (Quality Road x Paradise Woods) has drawn into the 9th at Belmont@Aqueduct, a 1 1/16-mile MSW for 2yo fillies that has been moved to the dirt.

ETA: Paradise Woods led until mid-stretch, but then faded near the wire. Caught by winner Vino Rouge (Vino Rosso) and 2nd Sensing Flatter.

Caramel Swirl wins the G2 Gallant Bloom today, via a double DQ. It sounds like she could possibly train up to the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint.

Quoting to add, Caramel Swirl apparently has a yearling full brother that’s been exported to Japan.

Anyone know how Union Rags does as a sire in Japan? I don’t think he’s had many runners there, but I also wouldn’t know how to check!
