It was subsequently noted she has been pensioned. Provisional (Justify) also debuts there. He's a 1/2 brother to Arrogate.
Highland Falls won. Provisional was a well-beaten 7th.

The Process, More Than Ready x Eblouissante, broke his maiden in a MSW at Ellis Park. Half to Confidence Game and of course Ebby is Zenyatta's, um, half sister? (My mind is going.)

I'm sorry I missed that. I have a tendency to spend more time with FSN's Day at the Races than Fandrool, so I wasn't watching Ellis. The DatR crew talks about horses and racing a LOT more than they do about betting. Fandrool's on-air talent, however, appear to be stuck in the position of having to shill constantly.
Ebby is gorgeous and she had a bit of talent. It's gratifying to see her doing well as a broodmare.

Love that he is a son of the late More Than Ready. Wonder where he runs next.

I think its a good sign of what they thought about the filly to have picked up her dam afterward. It looks like they had planned to pinhook Emery, buying her as a weanling and entering her in a yearling sale but she was an out. She looks really pretty in the photo in the article.

I saw a photo of Emery awhile back, added her to my Stable Mail. I was camping and missed the race, nice to see her win first out!

That race resembled a rugby scrum (and for once, Irad was not the cause).

ETA: Zverev (Oscar Performance - Balance) finished unplaced in the same race.

Since Fox scrapped their horse racing coverage right before that interesting MSW, I missed the race.
And it looks like ALL of the rest of the last Saturday races at Saratoga have been buried on some Fox sports app, so the Harvey Pack and the G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup will be missing on tv. Argh.

Tbh, as hard as it is to stomach, I understand putting a pause on nationally televised races for a bit. We’ve had two worst-case scenarios in very close succession.

Agate Road was a monster in that race. He closed pretty well on dirt first out, but holy cow that was wild. Glad everyone is okay after that ping pong match in the stretch.

The horse racing suddenly showed back up on FSN2. Makes me wonder if the Fox corporate bigwigs just throw darts at their scheduling board.

Philanthropy, out of Salute, is about to run at Saratoga. Possibly the most picture-perfect 2yo I have ever seen. She is unbelievably beautiful.
