Noble Mission (GB) (full to Frankel) is in the G3 Betfair Price Rush Huxley Stakes at Chester tomorrow. Telescope (IRE) (Galileo), who is o/o a half to DWC winner Moon Ballad and was a G2 winner last year, is also in the race. He finished 2nd to Noble Mission in the G3 Gordon Richards S. last month. Afonso de Sousa (1/2 to Big Brown) is entered, but considered doubtful.

Your not kidding, Divine Energy ran into a buzz saw today. Sure that he has more wins down the road.

Afonso de Sousa indeed was scratched
Noble Mission won impressively after involving himself in a pace duel with the crazy Ektihaam! Second Grade 3 win in a row and it looks like he is coming into himself now, Jane Cecil said 'He's done so well over the winner' 'The aim is to get a Group 1 in' Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot may be next

From the DRF:
Dwyer likely for Bay of Plenty

Bay of Plenty was most impressive in winning a first-level allowance race by 9 1/4 lengths Wednesday for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and Sheikh Mohammed’s Godolphin Racing.

Though his time of 1:35.97 was 1.18 seconds slower than Readthebyline’s time in a $25,000 claiming race 30 minutes earlier, jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. basically had Bay of Plenty eased up in the final 100 yards.

Bay of Plenty earned a 94 Beyer Speed Figure for the win, compared with a 106 for Readthebyline.

While McLaughlin didn’t shut the door entirely on a run in the Belmont Stakes, he seemed more inclined to run in the Dwyer Stakes on July 5.

“I’m not going to rule it out,” McLaughlin said of the Belmont. “We will talk. It’s a big jump after being conservative. The first thought is Dwyer.”

I didn't see this filly mentioned! Which surprises me being by the wonderful racehorse Sea The Stars that alone is worth the mention however her female line is more extraordinary!! Sivoliere won her first race on April 22nd at Maisons-Laffitte, her dam is Sefroua a G3 placed daughter of Kingmambo out of Group 1 Winning mare Sophistical who is a daughter of the Hall of Fame Champion Serena's Song..

Wow- thanks for that- and it was probably just a typo- that would be Sophisticat. I have been trying to follow her daughters as well- but since these are foreign- a bit more difficult. Sophisticat is now a broodie in Australia- looking for some good things there. Serena's influence is really very international now- a son at stud in Canada, one in Mexico, one in South America.
She has sons in Japan and Dubai- although I have not heard anything about either one of them in a long time.

We have grandchildren in Iran, England, South America, Mexico- and, as of late South Africa. One of these days, I'm going to start a thread about the family- but just cant seem to get to it. It would take a bit of time to compile.

Hope to see more good things from Sivoliere.

Every time I see that name, I jump a bit- that was Serena's dam's name as well. Good for him.

She's obviously had some problems with the lackluster 2012 and the layoff, but she's talented. And she's 5--its amazing she's still in training.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Yeah, she's a bit of a mystery. Has had a lot of fast works and a few nice-looking wins (although she only faced 2 horses in one of them), but some real clunkers in stakes company. I guess they must think she has the ability to be a SW, or she'd be in a pasture with a foal at her side right now. Unless they've found out she's infertile or something.

Toscanini (IRE) (Shamardal x Tuzla (FR)) is in the 6:15 at Naas tomorrow. He'll face the well-regarded War Envoy (War Front), who had an impressive debut win in April. War Envoy's 3rd dam is Winning Colors.
