Tyson (Tapit x Honouring) wins his second consecutive graded stakes, the G2 Seagram Cup at Woodbine.

His second dam is Teeming and his third dam is Better Than Honor. Even just recent performers from this family include Belmont Stakes winner Arcangelo (his dam is Modeling, a half-sister to Honouring).

Eisenhower, out of G2 winner My Miss Sophia, veered and ran greenly for Mandella today at Del Mar. ran 8th. I expect he needed/needs a race or two. πŸ™‚

I hope so, too! :D
And I have now just realized that Letruska(USA) is a close relative to Proud Spell(USA).
I didn't realize that, either. I had to look it up to see, her 3rd dam is Proud Spell's 2nd dam.

It would be a lovely story if NY-bred Maple Leaf Mel defeats the blue-blooded, Godolphin-owned, Ky Oaks-winning Pretty Mischievous in the upcoming Test.

Swirvin (Girvin - Cara Sorella) won the Jersey Shore S. at Monmouth.

She is a relative of Wise Dan. I think you could consider him her "Grand Uncle."

No idea, but the owner is listed under her name with "Hendrickson" in parenthesis at the end. I've also seen her horses listed as Marylou Whitney Estate. I don't know when it changed.

Actually, I didn't realize she was a Marylou horse until this post.

Her widower John Hendrickson runs the racing stable and charitable efforts.

Ned Toffey said "He may be sold outright, or we may keep a piece." He also said that Tamara, 2yo f (Bolt d'Oro - Beholder) is set to debut in the next couple weeks but a race hasn't been picked as of the time of the article.

Wish he would have said what is up with Teena Ella. She only worked 3x since the G3 win in May and hasn't worked since late June.

I’ll talk to spendthrift first thing in the morning and see if they want to comment on her.
