Goodnight Olive won the G1 Ballerina at Saratoga. By Ghostzapper o/o MGSW Salty Strike, who unfortunately passed away in 2019.

Caramel Swirl was second. By Union Rags o/o Caramel Snap, her dam is a half-sister to Frosted and Indulgent, and her second dam is half to Midshipman. I expect her to win a G1 at some point during her career.

Speaking of Union Rags, his colt Nature Therapy o/o GSW My Happy Face broke his maiden in Japan!

Bye Bye Melvin (Uncle Mo x Karlovy Vary [Dynaformer]) went to the front and improved his position in the 4th at Saratoga. The brother of Mean Mary took the 1 1/8-mile AOC on the grass pretty easily. Too bad he has been gelded with such a nice pedigree, but apparently he has been a 'tough' customer for Motion.

La Victoria (Tapit x La Verdad) is running in the upcoming 10th at Saratoga, a 1 1/8-mile MSW for F&M 3yo+up on the inner turf. Loved La Verdad, although she was a sprinter. Hope her daughter can express her sire's stamina influence in this race.

A 1/2 brother to the recently departed Imagining, he is one of several royally-bred Phipps horses who have transferred to Jack Fisher's barn for a second career as a jumper.
