Rarify (Justify x Bella Jolie), half sis to Runhappy, is about to run at Saratoga in the 6th race, a 6-furlong MSW for 2yo fillies.
ETA: She finished 2nd, after leading into the stretch, got passed by Kaling (Practical Joke). Has the Wesley Ward speed, but may need a bit of seasoning to gain some stamina.

On Saturday, at Saratoga, Stage Raider won a second-level allowance by 3 1/4 lengths. Stage Raider had finished second, beaten a neck by Highly Motivated, in a May 28 allowance at Belmont.

“I really wanted to see that horse mentally put a proper race together the right way because he can be tricky,” Brown said. “I don’t know what he beat, but he certainly did it the right way and it doesn’t look like an extra eighth of a mile will bother him. He’ll be in a stakes somewhere.”

Brown said he would look at the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup on Sept. 3, but was far from committing to it.

Running in the Juddmonte colors, he barely found room between the two front runners and bravely won by 1/2 length. The colt looks nearly black, but I would guess that he will eventually look like his sire.
Artorius was an easy winner of the Curlin S at Saratoga. Gilded Age (MDO - G1W Angela Renee) was second.

Dry impressive- really like this colt and I think he can run all day. May go to Travers next. Arrogate has had 2 stakes winners in 2 days now.

Favorite winner of the day. He was much the best out of a promising bunch. I would love for Arrogate to have a really good colt.

Didn’t Juddmonte purchase Paulassilverlining specifically to breed to Arrogate?

Yes. So you could say they spent a lot of money to create him. Much more than most yearling or 2yo sale purchases.

Mister Chairman (Into Mischief x Lulu's Number), half bro to Disco Partner, just won the 7th at Saratoga, a 5 1/2-furlong MSW for state bred 3yo+up on the grass. Looks quite a bit like his 'brother' - a compact pale grey with the will to get past that last horse near the wire. 8-)

The upcoming 5th at Saratoga, a 13/8-mile AOC on the turf for F&M 3yo+up, has some nice mares. Most interesting pedigree: Mezcal (Pioneerof the Nile x Cathryn Sophia), trained by Pletcher, ridden by Prat.
