Samantha N is a full sister to Rachel Alexandra, which I guess makes Fairchild Rachel's niece. ;) :D
She won the Wasted Tear Stakes at Lone Star on Saturday for her first stakes win!

Badenweiler(JPN), a Duramente(JPN) 1/2 to BC Distaff winner Marche Lorraine(JPN), won the Jpn3 Mercury Cup 2000m dirt at Morioka under Yuichi Fukunaga on July 18th 2022.
I hope that the 4yo colt will keep improving and make a trip to the US someday!!

I Recall is the younger one. Mama is Real Distinctive (by With Distinction).

Kinda warms my heart to see that somebody has a stakes race named for Wasted Tears. I just fell in love with her when she was running. She missed getting her GI win by just a year when she won the John C Mabee at Del Mar the first year it was downgraded to a GII in 2010. She really did like Del Mar, as that same year, she finished a close second in the GI Matriarch as well.

After several foals, she hasn't had a lot of success as a broodmare, but she did manage to produce last year's 2yo Champion Corniche to the cover of Quality Road. She was a fun one to be a fan of.😊

Never Ending Story - 2019 f. Dubawi x Athena, by Camelot, won the G3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown over 7f. Dam was a winner of the G1 Belmont Oaks. 2nd dam is Cherry Hinton, who has also produced G1 winner Bracelet amongst other Group winners and performers. 3rd dam is Urban Sea.

Kind of weird they gave this name to a Dubawi instead of a No Nay Never but oh well

Maybe the name describes the 'never ending story' of this wonderful maternal line - Urban Sea to Cherry Hinton to Athena to Never Ending Story. 8-)

Oh yay, I love Malibu Moon so much...I believe this makes the colt a 3/4 brother to Upstart, who was by Flatter

I wouldn't say I'm a big Pletcher fan but Keepmeinmind is so much easier to root for now that he's changed hands.

The 2yo Into Mischief colt Bring Theband Home won SAR R6. His second dam is Tizso, a full sister to Tiznow. She is also the dam of Paynter. You can search her name in the Keeneland January and In Memoriam 2020 threads if you want to get pissed off.
