Several over blue-blooded debuts today, courtesy of the Racing Post Bloodstock daily email (well worth a subscribe):

“Many of them are set to meet in the seven-furlong two-year-old fillies’ maiden at the Curragh (5.35). The race features Dower House, a Galileo full-sister to Group 1 winners Churchill and Clemmie out of the speedy Meow trained by Aidan O’Brien for Coolmore; Danvers Gold, a Galileo filly out of popular Weatherbys Super Sprint and Group 3 winner Mrs Danvers trained by Jessica Harrington for Zhang Yuesheng after being signed for by BBA Ireland at 320,000gns as a yearling; and Sandy Creek, a Frankel three-parts sister to Group 3 winner and Derby sixth Stone Age trained by Joseph O’Brien for White Birch Farm.

“The Curragh will also host the debuts of the Aidan O’Brien-trained Coolmore homebred colt St Kitts – by No Nay Never out of Irish Oaks heroine Bracelet, a maternal granddaughter of Urban Sea, though without a winner from four runners – and the Donnacha O’Brien-trained Niarchos homebred colt Yosemite Valley, a Shamardal half-brother to Ballysax Stakes winner Piz Badile, who both run in the six-furlong two-year-old maiden (5.00).”

The 2nd at Churchill, a 5f MSW for 2yo fillies, was won impressively by Summer Promise (Uncle Mo x Dream of Summer), a half sister to Creative Cause, Destin and Vexatious. Dream of Summer is an amazing broodmare. <3
Considering how well she did with Giant's Causeway, sire of the three stakes horses I mentioned, I wonder if they would consider taking her to a son of the late, great GC? Maybe Not This Time?

They bred her to Justify and Not This Time for 2022 but she didn't have a foal. She is 23 though, so idk if they will breed her again.

That's too bad. Does she have a yearling?

Thanks for posting about this one. I really liked Dream of Summer; I still remember her running down the stretch and swishing her tail repeatedly when her jock went to the whip.

ETA: Tenebrism was Caravaggio’s first winner back in March and this was her first start since then.
The Justify filly Statuette, a 3/4 sister to Tenebrism, won her debut at Navan nicely today.
Statuette won the Airlie Stud S (G2) at the Curragh today.

Saint Tapit (Tapit x Havre de Grace) just won easily in the 4th at Belmont, a 6 1/2-furlong MSW for 3yo+up on the dirt. This was his first start and it looks like 'Grace has a good one.

The 3rd at Churchill tomorrow (Saturday), a 6-furlong MSW for 2yos, has the debut (I think?) of Confidence Game (Candy Ride x Eblouissante). I'd love to see Ebby be successful as a broodmare. IMHO she had talent, but got totally turned off racing by a bad gate incident in NY.

Confidence Game was third to the uber-impressive Damon’s Mound.

Capensis, $2 million yearling by Tapit x Tara's Tango (UBS), just won the 5th at Belmont, a 1 1/16-mile MSW for 3yo+up on the inner turf. It was an impressive debut, and apparently he really likes the green stuff. :D
