He could just be slow, but he doesn't look like he has much interest in being a racehorse.
Even at Golden Gate, a horse has to want to beat the horse in front of him/her.

TVG asked Richard Mandella before the race if anything about him was reminiscent of Beholder. "No."

I can give him a happy home!

Maybe he and Ziconic can commiserate about the unfair expectations of being a pretty pony with a monster mom.

Free: Judging from her first U.S. start, Pennybaker a name to remember
https://www.drf.com/news/free-judging-h ... e-remember
Pennybaker lost her first six starts, all maiden turf races in France. She finally switched to synthetic and went on a tear. The Godolphin-owned and -bred filly, by Medaglia d’Oro and produced by a full sister to Frosted, won four straight, including a late-season stakes race in France. It earned her a ticket to the United Staters for her new trainer, Michael Stidham.

Aussie Pride (Curlin -
Bounding (AUS)) earns back some of that $4.1million by breaking his maiden in his third start
He looked very stylish! I hope it's the first of many wins.
His half-sister Lolloping was a debut winner, but finished off the board in her most recent start.

Beautifully bred Tap for Me coming of age
https://www.drf.com/news/beautifully-br ... coming-age
Hall of Fame trainer Steve Asmussen is a fan of Tap for Me.
You might even call him a “groupie” when it comes to the daughter of Tapit and the champion racemare Groupie Doll.
“She’s beautiful,” he said.

She wasn't a stakes winner, didn't even race but Zandon's dam Memories Prevail has the distinction of being the first foal for Creative Cause.

Zandon is intriguing me. Along with liking Upstart/Flatter/A.P. Indy on top, being out of a Creative Cause mare is a plus IMO. Creative Cause (
Giant's Causeway x Dream of Summer) has a G1-winning full sister,
Vexatious, and a G2 brother,
Destin. Nice female line.
I also just got a good TVG-profile look at him walking around/working out at Churchill...all clean and shiny. He is a purty boy.
