Tanino Frankel (JPN) - Frankel x Vodka (JPN) won at 2000m today at Hanshin... very, VERY easily.

Tanino Frankel improved his record to 7-2-1-2 with today's stylish victory. 8-)
He will need another win in the stakes company to earn his spot in the upcoming Japanese Derby.
Tanino Frankel’s 2017 full brother Seven Pockets broke his maiden today at Wolverhampton in his third start. He last raced in July.
Seven Pockets won again at Kempton yesterday.

Q B One (Uncle Mo x Beholder) just finished 3rd (in a 6-horse field) in the 6th at Santa Anita, a 1-mile MSW on the dirt. The race was won impressively by the other Mandela runner, Set Sail (Malibu Moon x Fleet of Gold).
Beholder's boy doesn't seem to have much of his mom's talent.

Ugh, that's a rather Zenyatta like start to Beholder's broodmare career. Not very encouraging.

The 8th race at Gulfstream Park on Saturday had extremely really well-bred fillies in it.

The winner, Wish You Well, is half to GSW Chanteline and MSW Kell Paso. She is also her sire's most expensive foal at auction thus far (American Freedom). This was her first start.

The second place filly, Inventing, ran very well considering her wonky start and this was also her debut. Her dam, Una Mac Cool, is half to MGSW Private Mission, MSW Secret Someone, and Gift List, the dam of MG1W Dunbar Road. Hails from the family of Oaks winner Secret Status and G1W Fair Maiden.

The third place filly, Frippet, got up late to place. Her dam White Clover is a SW and a half-sister to G1W ERMINE.

The fourth place filly, Inviting, almost held on for third. It's that famous Phipps family; her dam Trophy Wife is a half to Magical World, dam of Guarana, Magic Dance, and Beatbox. I don't think I need to expand on this family anymore.
