La Crete, half to Clairiere, was very game in winning the Silverbulletday...easily.

Cavorting is one of my all time favorites, and I love Bernardini so much, so I’m just thrilled ...

Song Gate and Better Whisper have become friends as they acclimate to KY.
If you think Song Gate sounds familiar, you're right. She's Songbird's first filly, by Arrogate. Due to a confluence of factors, she will not race; however, she will be bred. Will update as the year goes.

I wonder if she was injured or if she is just too valuable. Sad :( I was looking forward to her.

She crushed a nothing field. The time was so slow I'll have to review the SA times--I know the track is pretty slow but I don't have a handle on it.

On TVG Rich Perloff just referred to QB One as a gelding, and he was reading from a paid pedigree site. He also expressed surprise at the choice of Bolt d'Oro for Beholder, but that's another discussion. :(

Speaking of Beholder’s babies, her 3f Karin With An I (Curlin) looks a lot like her mum.

There was a link when she won the Trial--her dam--Lookin at Lucky's dam--sold at 19 with this filly in utero for $40,000. Filly sold for $425,000 at 2. Not a bad return!
