HMS Endeavour runs in the Middle Park S (G1) next up at Newmarket. He’s won his last 2 races after finishing third in his debut.

He finished last—practically eased. Hope he’s okay.

King Fury (Curlin x Taris) just won the Bourbon Trail Stakes at Churchill by about ten lengths. EASY win.

You have THAT set up with the names of the sire and dam, and you go with the name Nest. Just an epic fail in my opinion.

The owners of the half sibling, Ark In The Dark , understood the assignment. And Idol works well.

What am I missing? Curlin was named after someone and I have no idea who Marion Ravenwood was named for...?

I don’t have an issue with the name..

Famed (Uncle Mo), the 2yo half sister to Essential Quality, finished 2nd in the 8th at Churchill, a 6-furlong MSW for fillies on the dirt. She looked like she was going to win by open lengths, but got run down by longshot Sweet Dani Girl (Jess's Dream) near the wire. Good run by both fillies.

Not sure if it was announced anywhere in here (I did do a search and this was the last mention of her I found), seems she's been retired per a Twitter post:

That would make her a half to Tacitus, yes? Tacitus is running the same day in the Lukas Classic; I wish them both luck,

Both MG1SW from the same foal crop(both born in 2010), owned by Juddmonte and trained by Bill Mott. At least that would be my guess. :)
