I have to say that I don't remember seeing a jockey sit so motionless on a horse down the stretch since Victor Espinoza on Officer in the Champagne Stakes in 2001! If the tailbone ever got a cut or gash on it, the hair that would grow back over the scar would be white. One of our guys had eye surgery and had to wear blinkers that fully covered one eye to keep the light off the retina. Unfortunately the cup of the blinker rubbed above his eye, and the hair grew back in white so now he has a permanent white eyebrow! Have to use brown chalk/pastels to cover it up when he competes.
At that age it's likely just left over foal flaxen.
