Santa Anita morning line oddsmaker Jon White points out that She’s Our Charm, a full sister to Runhappy Santa Anita Derby winner Rock Your World, runs in Sunday’s seventh race at Santa Anita, a $65,000 second condition allowance at one mile on turf.

Ron McAnally, Hall of Fame trainer of two-time Horse of the Year John Henry, conditions She’s Our Charm, who along with Rock Your World is by Candy Ride and is out of the Empire Maker mare Charm the Maker.

She’s Our Charm has won three of 11 career starts.

You'resothrilling, a full sister to Giant’s Causeway, produced another GSW when Joan of Arc (Galileo) won the Irish 1000 Guineas Trial (G3) at Leopardstown. The filly is a full sister to G1 winners Gleneagles, Marvellous, and Happily. I think she is You’resothrilling’s sixth SW.

Waspirant, newly gelded three-yr-old by Union Rags out of 2009 Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic champion Life is Sweet, finished 8th out of 8 runners in Race 8 (one mile dirt allowance optional claiming) today at Santa Anita Park. Footnotes from Equibase chart: “WASPIRANT was off a bit slow, raced well off the pace off the inside, eased out late on the second bend, came five wide into the stretch, had little left for the drive and was eased late and walked off.” Waspirant, trained by John Shirreffs, was ridden today by hall of fame jockey Kent Desormeaux.
