Just saw the replay - she freaked! It took her a few races to really put it together but I think she’s going to make her momma proudBaroqueAgain1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 8:15 pm The filly As Time Goes By (American Pharoah x Take Charge Lady) just romped in the 8th at Santa Anita. Future stakes horse, for sure...and another winner for the great Take Charge Lady.

He is 4 and never raced. He was in training but they weren't happy with how he was working (slow) so they sent him back to the farm in hopes he would mature. I can pretty much guarantee they are regretting not taking the 1.75 million he RNA'd for as a yearling.

I think they intend to send him back to the track. If he doesn't seem to have improved, they'll probably find somewhere for him to stand at stud, even though Will Take Charge has been disappointing, One More City's pedigree will secure him a chance at stud. Also I think he is with Chad Brown (or he was last year), as he always worked with another Brown horse.

I saw an interview with John Gunther and he seemed to love the horse and appeared emotionally attached to him. I hope he can find success. Agree WTC has been disappointing at stud- seems that few sons of UBS are successful. UBS a better broodmare sire I guess.

Liam's Map has done OK. Midshipman will get you a racehorse, but yeah, we will see with Arrogate.Squeaky wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 10:49 am I saw an interview with John Gunther and he seemed to love the horse and appeared emotionally attached to him. Nice win by the regally bred The Grass is Blue. I always loved Aldebaran, wished he’d done better at stud.
Diamond Ore now has some black type, which is what they were striving for.
