Glad to see him back at the top of his game! Have the connections stated whether they want to try and race him internationally as an older male if/when the pandemic gets under control?
His owner doesn't seem to have left any statement about his future plan.
But it looks like Japanese owners become more interested in the big dirt races in the states after the introduction of Japanese Road to the Kentucky Derby formula.
His logical goal for this year will be the G1 Champion Cup at Chukyo in December.
Let's hope he continues to do well to convince his owner. ;)

Agreed! I will be rooting for him then!
It would be something to see him in Dubai, the Pegasus or who knows... Cafe Pharoah in the 2021 BC Classic?

IIRC, Declaration if War had at least two winners last weekend. I was watching Belmont on a Fox channel before the Preakness and his runners were really running.
Was it Coolmore who sold him to Japan?
I believed this horse would be a good sire; now it looks like he's done the Leave-the-country-&-then-your-offspring-start-winning-a-Lot Tango.

Yes Coolmore sold him.
He was doing pretty well before they sold him. He was the leading 2nd crop sire by Stakes Winners and had sired French Classic winner Olmedo. He stood his first year in Ireland, then came to the US for the 2015-2018 seasons. Then was sold to Japan in October 2018. He was still popular with breeders, in 2018 he got 110 mares so while yes he had dipped some from his first year in the US where he covered 192 mares, I think that was still good. They had to of received a large offer to sell him.
