Such a cutie, he gets the chrome from Dad for sure but had to go digging to find that chesnut :) . Also found find Flying Paster in Life is Sweets pedigree which I'm always happy to see, I hope he continues to do well.

It would be from Terlingua and Tempo.

Interestingly he had his name changed shortly after being named, so its definitely a made up word because of the JC's reaction to it:

05/13/20 Name Change Waspirant Approved
05/09/20 Name Change Waspirant Rejected Please supply meaning or additional information in writing
05/06/20 Name Claim County Fair Approved
04/20/20 Name Claim Pastimes Rejected Similar to name already in use (Pastime)

Weird that the JC would react that way to a made up word.

Its actually a rule: An explanation must accompany "coined" or "made-up" names that have no apparent meaning. I think this rule could be called the "Isitingood" rule. XD

I love Tapit, and she did win easily, but I thought she deserved to come down even if it didn’t cost Mrs. Frankel a placing; you can’t encourage that kind of bumping ..bumping, hell, that was a brutal collision.

Is she Love Style's last foal, or is that mare still producing? :?

Charles Chrome (California Chrome x Charlie A., by Curlin) won his debut race at Indiana Grand by 12 1/2 lengths on September 8. He looks a lot like dad.

His third dam is Unbridled Elaine. Maybe we'll see him next in a stakes at Indiana.
