Not sure if anyone spotted this but the winner of the Rockfel Stakes (G2 at Newmarket), Just Wonderful is a daughter of Wading, who is a daughter of Cherry Hinton, who is a daughter of none other than Urban Sea. The legacy continues.

St Patrick's Day (half to American Pharoah) was unfortunately just pipped on the line by Unfortunately in the G3 Renaissance Stakes today over 6f at Naas.

Shades of Upset :lol: But glad to see he is doing well. He's gonna get that Graded stakes win one of these days. At least he'll likely have the chance to run as an older.

Also... side note but SPD is a full to American Pharoah not a half!

And Wading is full to G1W Bracelet and 3/4 to G1W Athena.

A while back there was an article a bout a race across the pond (I think Ireland) and the trainer referred to the race as "a real ding dong" (meaning a good race) or something like that and I was thrown for a loop.

"Ding dong" usually specifically refers to a battle between horses with a close finish, especially if the lead has been traded several times. "Humdinger" is also a good phrase, and just means a great race.
