Morse Code (Tapit X Serena's Cat) won the 11th at Del Mar, a 1 1/16-mile AOC on the turf.
Is he a half brother to Honor Code or something more, since Honor Code's sire, A.P. Indy, is Morse Code's grandsire?

Pretty sure that would be considered a 3/4 brother or something. I'm not really keen on stuff like that though.

A.P. Indy is Morse Code's great grandsire so no. If it is a stallion and his son that both have progeny out of the same mare, then yes they would be considered 3/4.

Not an immediate relative or offspring of a well-known horse, but the West Virginia-bred Cheerful Chimes (Limehouse x Shecky's Bell), who was 3rd in Race 2 at Charles Town today, is a female line descendant of Shecky Greene. I'm not sure how often Shecky Greene shows up in pedigrees anymore. Figured she was worth mentioning on this thread! Her damsire is Shecky Iron (Iron x Jade Empress, by Shecky Greene), a 7-time winner in 54 starts. That's where the relation stems from.

Also, Galileo's Star, a broodmare who sold at the Keeneland January HORA sale, is by Lil E. Tee out of a Run For Nurse mare. You certainly don't see those names pop up much anymore either.
