Dark Prince ran 4th I think, but the winner a son of Into Mischief was extremely impressive and blew away the field by about 10.

Instagrand - a future star. Won by 10 in close to track record debut performance. Hope he holds together. Jerry’s got a good one for OXO. Wow.

Delta Prince (Street Cry x Delta Princess) is coming off a 10-month layoff to run in the upcoming G2 King Edward Stakes at Woodbine. He looked really good in the post parade.
ETA: He won by two lengths! Nice return to the races for this beautifully-bred colt. I hope he ends up at a top farm, because you can't get much better (or get any more from) than the late Street Cry and late Delta Princess for a stallion pedigree.

Meistermind (Bodemeister), 1/2 to Mine That Bird and Dullahan, finally broke his maiden today at CD,and pretty stylishly. He's entered in the July HORA sale, so that's a good way to head in the ring.

Funtastic, the longest shot of the Chad Brown quartet, upset the United Nations (gr. IT). He's by More Than Ready out of Quiet Dance, making him a half to the late Saint Liam and Quiet Giant (the dam of Gun Runner).

Just when I thought that family couldn't get any hotter, they pop out another G1 winner.

Athena, who won the G1 Belmont Oaks Invitational, is a 3/4 sister to G1 Bracelet and G2 Wading. Her dam is G3Spw Cherry Hinton, who is a daughter of Urban Sea.
Cherry Hinton also has a 2yo filly by Camelot named Goddess(full to Athena) and a weanling filly by American Pharoah.

Catedral(JPN), 2016C. Heart's Cry(JPN) x Abyla(GB) by Rock of Gibraltar(IRE), won his debut impressively beating some of the blue-blooded colts. :D
The same race was won by the Japanese Derby winner Wagnerian(JPN) last year.

Camelot is looking like he is truly the heir to Montjeu. I hope Coolmore starts sending more of their nice mares to him... though there's a lot of Sadler's Wells up close in the pedigree.

Baffert, according to an article on DRF, is really high on the Pioneerof the Nile filly Mother Mother, whom he scratched from Brill's race. She is also a half-sister to Kentucky Derby runner-up Commanding Curve and runs Sunday at Del Mar.

Also in the race is Tapwater from the Mandella barn whom I have also been hearing good things about. She's by Tapit out of a half-sister to Malibu Moon.

hoping the Mandella filly wins this one - would be nice to see him have another good one - he was wonderful for Beholder - we will see how Paradise Woods fares on the turf - but always happy when Mr Mandella has a nice runner in his barn - will be rooting for his filly, Tapwater, on Sunday for sure - thanks for the heads up about her, Starine!!

Mandella is my favourite trainer. Such a funny, classy guy with a soft and patient touch. Nobody could have replicated what he did with Beholder.
