Like his brother, Leyenda is trained by Kazuo Fujisawa and ridden by Christophe Lemaire.

...and his grand-dam Lady Blond is a half-sister to Deep Impact, by Seeking the Gold  I thought he won impressively, hand-ridden all the way and passed the others very easily.
Leyeanda(JPN) won his second career start beautifully, off a 9 month layoff due to injury, at Tokyo 9R 2000m turf alw on May 12th 2018.
He is now 2 for 2.

Last year's Willowdale winner and NSA Champion Timber Horse Doc Cebu, a 1/2 brother to millionaire Real Dandy, will be meeting him there.
DitD finished 4th...in a field of 6. Doc Cebu won easily.

Also Spoiler Alert, a Dynaformer 1/2 brother to Pool Play, won a maiden timber race on the same card.

Somehow Rugbyman (Tapit x Zaftig) broke his maiden Sunday at Belmont by 14 lengths, and we all missed it?

He'll go next in the Easy Goer.

Prince pleases in Flemington jumpout
Image
Prince Of Caviar (Image: Ned Hunt)
While most of the world's eyes are fixed on the Royal Wedding in England this weekend, Australian racing's own prince was back on show at Flemington.

Prince Of Caviar, the young son of the legendary mare Black Caviar, trialled over 800m at Flemington on Friday morning, pleasing connections with his work under jockey Luke Nolen.

"He worked home nicely, so he did everything that was asked for him," said his co-trainer Wayne Hawkes.

"He just jumped good, he just sat in behind the leaders and Luke just pulled him out after they went about 600m and just popped him around."

It was the fourth time the Sebring colt has jumped out and Hawkes said he's been impressed with how he has continued his educational process, declaring he's improved in leaps and bounds in the lead-up to his first start.

Soglio (Scat Daddy), whose dam is Sea of Showers, a GSW daughter of G1W Chimes of Freedom (herself the dam of Aldebaran and Good Journey) also won at CD today, Race 8. He and Chiltern Steet were decent claims by Ramsey.

First Eleven(GB), 2015C. Frankel(GB) x Zenda(GB), broke his maiden by 5th lengths in his fifth try going 11F at Newbury on May 18th 2018.
He is a 1/2 to Kingman(GB), too.

Tap Daddy (Scat Daddy x Easy Tap/Tapit) won the James W. Murphy Stakes at Pimlico today. He was favored when the race was supposed to be on the turf but, even when the race was moved to the muddy main, the Scat Daddy colt was too fast. :D
